Checkride passed. The examiner had little to say other than “very thorough.”
Congratulations to newly minted private pilot Chad Peabody, who passed his private pilot checkride with DPE Eric Cook on November 30, 2022.
After flying with us for only a few months, while balancing an extremely busy schedule, this nurse, father, and hobbyist wingsuit jumper made his checkride look simple. Chad’s dedication paid off, and right after he received his certificate he took his son flying.
Ever thorough, after that flight Chad and his son did a postflight walkaround of the airplane and noticed that the nose wheel seemed to be losing pressure. The tube had shifted and been pinched, and the tire went flat. Luckily, the Warrior was scheduled to begin its 100-hour inspection that very night.
