Any airport with an operating control tower works. The KSAC tower closes at 2100 local, so fly there from October to early March.

Objective

Fly the first solo night cross-country. Make 5 takeoffs and 5 landings at any airport with an operating control tower. Each landing follows a full traffic pattern. The suggested airport is Sacramento Executive (KSAC), on the XC 4 route. With XC 6, this lesson meets 14 CFR 61.129(a)(4)(ii).
