Objective

Scenario-based lesson testing decision making in evaluating risks associated with aircraft communications. Student departs to practice area, requests flight following, practices assigned maneuvers, then encounters alternator failure. Battery dies before pattern entry at towered airport. Student must exercise prescribed procedures for lost communications entry into Class Delta.
