Class D airspace surrounds airports that have an operating control tower and weather surfaces available, and are not associated with Class B or C airspace. Class D airspace normally extends from the surface up to and including 2,500 ft. AGL(Above Ground Level).
Operating Rules and Equipment Requirements
Two-way radio communications must be established and maintained with ATC prior to entering and while operating in Class D airspace.
